In this practical hands-on workshop, you will learn how to make your own Christmas stocking using offcuts in a zero waste way. Working with your hands you will be cutting the patterns and fabric, stitching all together by hand, leaving the session with a beautiful stocking boot to hang on your fireplace.
We will be working with reclaimed fabric off-cuts and remnants that have been salvaged from the fashion industry.
Suitable for all levels, this workshop is aimed at anyone with no sewing experience but also for experts in sewing who would like to see how to make things in a zero waste way.
If you come with kids a full induction will be given, and you will be shown how to use the needle safely. Cutting tools (scissors) will be used. If you have any concerns about using any of the equipment please get in touch before booking.
All participants must be 9 and over. If you come with family or friends there is a great discount!
