Are you passionate about sustainable fashion?
Do you want to learn how to rework your own garments?
During London Craft Week, on Saturday 13 May, our studio residents Nadia Piechestein from @tlzmovementclothes and Morgan Amber from @morganamberprinting will be offering a textile storytelling workshop at Craft Central. In this in-depth 3 hour long event, you will experiment and create your own sustainable, contemporary textile piece using Khadi cotton iron patches and natural dye woodblock printing. Nadia, fashion designer, and Morgan, textile designer, will help you get started on your creative journey and create a story using your clothes as a medium and narrate a textile composition. No sewing experience is needed. The first session available will start from 11am to 2pm and a second one will run from 3pm to 6pm. This class is available at the price of £52.00, including refreshments and all materials you will require except the garment you want to work with. Workshops are non-refundable. If you can no longer make it on the day you are welcome to find a replacement to take your space. It may be possible to book you for an alternative date depending on workshop availability. Requests to exchange the date must be made no less than 7 days before the event. For booking or more info click here.
Looking forward to see you there :)
